More Frequent Action Figures

Update: The most recent base game update 1. 16. 242 increased the drop rate up to 50% and fixed the oversight that previously made the drop rate even lower than intended. This mod is now less relevant, but remains up for those interested in the 75% or 100% options.

If you've been playing with the new Free Lanes update, you might have noticed that the new Action Figures are pretty uncommon. A full explanation of how often they actually drop is included further down the page, but in short it will take a long time to complete your collection with the default implementation.

I am however not a big fan of RNG grind, and so this mod simply cranks up the drop rate everywhere Action Figures can currently already drop to your choice of 50%, 75% or 100%. It does nothing to change the rarity of individual figures - you're still more likely to get unsealed than sealed, or generic than named, and duplicates are likely. It also does not add figures anywhere they weren't already. The aim is to make completing a collection more viable to do in a reasonable amount of playtime, while still maintaining the need to go out and find them in the wild.

Requirements

Starfield updated to the latest patch 1. 16. 236. No DLC required for the main file, just the free Free Lanes update.

There's also an optional addon which requires Terran Armada (this addon is separate from the main file and does not include its changes).

Installation

Install via your mod manager of choice, or manually to your Starfield/Data folder if you prefer.

Compatibility & Load Order

This mod should be compatible with anything that doesn't touch boss chest levelled lists. Economy overhaul mods are probably the most likely to be incompatible due to this, though I am not aware of any specific examples that are definitely incompatible at this time.
