Immersive Contraband - Va'Ruun Heretic Writings

An option for "Translate Va'Ruun Writings" has been added to the industrial workbench.

All recipes added require you possess the required items for the recipe to show on the bench to prevent clutter.

Crafting the item will return 1-5 different writings of various rarities:

• []Tome Pages - By finding and combining all the pages, you can create a unique book with each providing a unique permanent bonus, similar to magazines.

Each tome has 10 pages that must be found to be combined and there are 10 books to find.

A fully assembled tomes value is about 150% of the pages sold individually, making reassembling tomes after receiving the perk still worthwhile.

Recipes to combine the pages are on the industrial bench.

• []Training Manuals - These writing are single-use consumables with each providing a different boost, some of which cannot generally be gained without perks or the console. The effects and duration are fairly powerful to give the player a reason to use it rather than sell it for the contraband price.

  Too keep some items worth selling and keep things interesting, there is a number of generic writings added, with varying values.

  • []Propaganda - Generic writings of Va'Ruun propaganda, meant for their people as well as those they would convert.

    []Valuable Info - Generic writings of Va'Ruun High Scripture, Exploration Data, Official Documents.

    []Damaged/Torn/Stained/etc - Unreadable pages only useful for selling.

    Installation

    1. Use mod manager to install normally or manually extract the plugin to your mod directory

    2. Add "*ContrabandVaruun.esm" without quotes to your plugins.txt

    Compatibility

    The only edited record is the Contraband item, but it just adds a description, load this mod early in your load order to allow anything else to overwrite it if it needs to.

    If using one of my other mods, a mod manager may detect a conflict, it is safe to let it overwrite and use both.
