📋 About This Mod
Want more skins? I skin you not, i added 2 times the slots for more skins as a framework for modders and users!
Ever wanted to make your own skin color? More shades or compeltely new ones from alien races?
Maye you have some sick tattoos you wanna use but not wanting NPCs to steal that glory?
Then this mod is for you!
This framework let you add your own skins, may it be different shades of skins, colors, or tattoos,
whatever you can think of. In a techincal term, this framework adds x2 times the skin slots.
---How to install---
Place the Esm file inside the data folder (or merge the existing Data folder into Starfield's main folder).
Use your favorite mod launcher or Starfield's creation menu and activate *SkinFramework.esm
There are tons of skins out there that are normaly replacers, but simply downloading them and extract them,
and then renaming the human folder to gobbo and you are good to go. Look belove for a little more detailed explaination.
Go to this path Data\Textures\actors (Either from my games folder, or the main game folder if you are using one of
Baka's mods).
There, you sould see a folder called human. Simply rename it gobbo.
If you already have such folder (due to other mods that replaces human textures), extract the
textures somewhere else first, do the renaming and then put it into data as usual.
The game will then use the skins that are named acordingly, starting from SK0 and upwards to SK8.
When you are placing the skins in the gobbo folder, make sure you have everything regarding
the face intact. For example, sk0 and upwards all use different textures
for blending, and they all have different names such as md1, ol1, yo1 and so on.
if you dont have them, the game will only use the main texture and any blending you do, will use
the tar black default texture. This can be fine if you dont blend, but i dont recommend it.
The framework is also compadible with my other frameworks, such as the eye and tattoos frameworks to give
you more customizations.
You know it will work when you go to Enhance or start a new game and get into character creation.
Or use slm player 2.
---Q&A---
Q: Why make this?
A: I love play anything that isnt human, as it gives me alot more creative freedom, and also due to the fact that nobody else,
atleast at the time of this mod, went and done it. I made it also to make it player exclusive, or as a modder's resource.
Q: Doesnt your Alien Skins Standalone patch do the same?
A: In a sense yes. But that one was specificly made for the Alien Skins that Silverfox600 created.
This framework will work not only for that mod, but for others as well.
Q: Why not pack the skins so i dont have to do the anoying part of renaming folders?
A: Its a framework, not your personal collection to do the work for you.
Q: Why name th
