📋 About This Mod
Get your grubby hands into nearly 60 new containers with appropriate custom loot lists!
Listen I started a trend with my mod titles and now I feel like I have to keep it up. Copious Containers was the best I could come up with, and besides, it's accurate. Now there's a ton more containers. Anyway, here comes a surprisingly long description:
Did you ever find it a bit irritating that there's all sorts of containers around you can't stick your hand in? All those luggage trunks and filing cabinets and you can't rifle through them? No? Just me? Well here's a mod that lets you do that anyway.
There's not much more to say; that's it, the mod! I just... hate not being able to rummage through desks and cabinets and stuff, even though I won't find anything really very useful in them.
The way this mod works is it replaces any moveable static (objects that have physics enabled and are not baked into anything) that looks like a container with an actual equivalent container, with an appropriate levelled list attached (sometimes a base game levelled list, sometimes one custom made for this mod). For the moment (and maybe forever?) it doesn't replace any other item, more on this down below.

[]Almost 60 types of new containers all around the game with appropriate loot inside.
[
]Alternative/new way to interact with various laboratories and POIs you find by allowing you to ransack them for resources.[]Looting resources is now a viable alternative to mining and crafting.
[]It's possible to find contraband in some containers, so be careful about what your sticky fingers pick up!
[]You can throw most of these containers around. I know, that's not a deliberate feature, it's a byproduct, but it's fun.
[]Environmental storytelling potential! Yes, this is a side effect too, but I'm serious. My playtest spawned unethically harvested organs in The Well, and that kind of cool random chance can add a new spin to a familiar place.
This is a heavy WIP mod. Current quirks you WILL run into:
[]Containers not being owned when they should. There's no automated process for this, so I'm having to jump to every cell manually and see from memory and at a guess if it seems likely the container should be owned or not. Please report containers that are missing owners to me, including where they can be found and who the owner should be.
[]Containers being owned when they shouldn't. Sometimes I get things wrong! If I've marked something as owned and you're pretty sure it shouldn't be, tell me where it can be found and why it isn't owned.
[*]Interactive containers next to non-interactive versions of the same object or similar. For safety reasons (read: until I understand more about the game), this mod only affects objects that were havok-enabled moveable statics. It does not affect statics. That may change in the future, but for t
