CCR - Realistic Docking

You now have to be much closer to the station / docking port in order to dock. Note that on stations you can still have hundreds of meters of space between you and the docking port. It only takes a few more seconds of flight in most cases, but you get to see yourself fly slightly closer to the station or ship than before.

This mod runs this command on each startup:

setgs fSpaceshipMaxDockingDistance 250

If you have a small ship (Frontier) I recommend:

setgs fSpaceshipMaxDockingDistance 25

Making the distance to be negative works well on space stations, but I don't use this because it makes other smaller ships undockable. Might add more immersive docking features in the future if I find a way. Setting the distance below 250 is only a good idea for small ships like the Frontier.

Requires SFSE and Console Command Runner. SFSE usually requires Steam version. I recommend using ModOrganizer 2. 5 or higher (discord update).

To get rid of the black and white effect and make docking have color etc use the powerofthree's Tweaks SFSE mod.
