Better GalBank - Loans - Accounts

 Adds Kiosk to the GalBanks to take out loans and repay them back or open a account.

I  wanted a way to start a NG+ Character with some money in a immersive way, so I created this mod please like and endorse if you like it, it means the world!

GalBank Loans & accounts introduces a fully integrated loan & banking account system to Starfield, allowing players to access credit through newly deployed GalBank terminals across the Settled Systems. Designed to feel like a natural extension of the game’s economy, this mod enables players to apply for loans, receive credits instantly upon approval, and repay their debt over time through structured installments.

Each loan is governed by a progression-based system that reflects the player’s financial reliability. Smaller loans are available immediately, while larger amounts require a proven history of repayment and increased trust with GalBank. Payments are due on a regular schedule, and failure to meet those obligations results in escalating consequences. Late fees are applied based on the size of the loan, missed payments reduce your standing, and repeated delinquency will eventually place your account into default.

Defaulting on a loan suspends all future borrowing privileges until the account is resolved, reinforcing the importance of financial responsibility. However, players are given a path to recover their standing by settling their default status for a fee, restoring access to GalBank services. After successfully repaying a loan, a short processing period is required before new credit can be issued, preventing rapid cycling of loans and encouraging more deliberate financial planning.

To support the player throughout the repayment process, GalBank will issue reminders ahead of upcoming due dates, ensuring that obligations are not easily overlooked. The system is entirely self-contained, stable, and designed with long-term progression in mind, offering a consistent and immersive financial mechanic that fits seamlessly within the world of Starfield.

This mod focuses purely on lending and repayment, creating a clear and engaging gameplay loop built around risk, reward, and financial discipline, while laying the foundation for future expansions into a broader banking system.

Opening an account gives you interest, you can deposit and withdraw at will.
