📋 About This Mod
Creates a new universal water level to all procedurally generated terrain! Any planet or biome that allows it, water will be more common, deeper, and prevalent!
Welcome to the Aquafield!
To update the Aquafield POI Patch mod you need to start a new game or new game plus! Some locations have moved a few meters up or down, but when this happens mid save it can break the location! Unfortunately, there is no way around this, and you must update at your own discretion!!
Creates a new almost universal water level to allow for more water features in biomes that allow water!
This only affects procedurally generated terrain, not anything handcrafted.
This does NOT add water to planets or biomes that does not already have it.
This does NOT add a water level to any named city, location, or other quest related area.
Load at top of your load order and load all biome, terrain, or planet replacers after this mod for maximum compatibility.
Compatible with any biome replacement mod!
Highly recommended with Fantastical Frontiers or Vanilla Biomes Enhanced!
Performance
Yes, this can affect performance.
Increased load times.
Through testing the heavy water areas have the same performance as coast biomes.
It takes time for all the water to load in, and there can be graphical artifacts while loading. This will fix itself once all water is loaded.
It is possible for certain POI to not correctly place and create floating water. Please Download the Aquafield POI Patch if you have issues! This patch adds the new water level to almost all POI!
