I don't like the game plus option. Sometimes I want to start with a new character but... I don't want the grind of having to start as a complete rookie...

so I created this simple batch file to solve this problem... well until we have the full editor and create an 'Alternate Start' type mod anyway

So this is my take on a new character start.

The best workaround I can think of until we have the full editor.

You should make any changes in the batch file you feel will fit your play style best... this is a batch file for ideas to start you off.

Make sure you open the, commented, file in you preferred text editor, read it through and make any changes to suit your idea character.

The aim with my idea is not to start off with an OP character but also not as someone who is a complete rookie.

But if you want it to make a OP character then go for it.

How to use this mod.

Go through and create your new character and play through until you pickup your first ship "The Frontier".

Or you can use another mod to start you here and then use this batch file to set up you character.

Open the console and run this batch file, type in "bat start23" (without the quotes)

Then go into you skill tree and alocate your points how/where you want to. Your choice.

Important!

You may become over encumbered running this batch file. How you deal with that is upto you.
