19 hab 4 deck ship with just 2 stairs - savegame - plus explanation howto control ladders and doors

Apparently sharing a zipfile with pictures and explanation howto build a ship with as much control over door and ladder placement is not considered a mod but a zipfile containing just screenshots of character preset settings and/or a single savefile is!? (Since when are bat files considered mods?)

Anyway, hopefully within the rules this time:

Included a savegame so you can check out the interior of the Dark Star sitting at the Akila city landing area, also comes with a few other bonus ships I build.

Zipfile also includes a series of pictures explaining what i came up with to have as much control over the layout of my ships. (See uploaded images also) It's not perfect, because it cant be untill we get modding tools that give us full control over placement of ladders and doors where we want them instead of random.

A loop in your ship is possible with the limitation of only possible on a 1 deck layout ship and limited number of habs.

Image 1 shows the only way I have been able to create a loop on your ship, it's usefull only for smaller ships.

Image 2-3-4 show what happened when i tried to expand in the hopes the loop would remain in tact, unfortunatly the game starts to randomly close of habs and break the loop.

Rest of the images show how to build 3 decks with only 2 stairs LADDERS with the downside of not being able to create a loop on any deck and you will have some long walks front to back side to side. The upside is, you have as much control over ladders and doors as possible at the moment. Last 2 images are an example for  a setup with a central staircase/ ladder stack? reducing walking distances front to back.

I added discriptions to the images uploaded to this modpage, hopefully they are clear enough to get the idea. The download also contains the pictures for reference while you build.

I hope this helps some of you to get past the door and ladder frustration untill it's properly fixed by Bethesda themselves or probably some modders when the proper tools are available.

Using this "stacked" way of building with cross habs I was able to build a 19 hab ship with just 2 stairs  ladders and doors only where i wanted them, savegame with the ship included in the zipfile. Also included a deck by deck view of the Dark Star with full parts list used.
