Realistic Damage for Lost Alpha 1.4002

This little mod aims to make the damage (and to some degree an accuracy as well) of weapons and knife more realistic, this also includes adjustements to giant's and bloodsucker's immunities. Making giant slightly less resistant to firearms and explosions and bloodsucker a lot less resistant to firearms (it feels pretty ridiculous to empty 2-3 mags to kill a bloodsucker).

Q: Why I made these changes like this, including those changes to weapons' accuracy?

A: I think that the game should reward good aim above having a truck full of ammo with you. And yeah, weapons are generally not that innacurate themselves, it's usually the human shooting them at fault.

So what this does in short:

• []Improved accuracy of weapons (by 25%-35%)

  []Improved damage of knife (by 15-25% - because if you have the balls to go against anything with knife, it should pack a punch)

  []Improved damage of firearms (by 20-40%)

  []Improved Armor Piercing characteristics of ammunition (AP rounds dealing slightly less pure damage,  but penetrate more resistance, normal rounds deal slightly more damage but penetrate less)

  []Tweaked resistances of Bloodsucker and Giant

  []Reworked buckshot for shotguns - now having 12 pellets, slightly bigger spread, no penetration, but solid damage

  • []Copy gamedata folder to your Lost Alpha folder. For example I have - D:\games\Lost Alpha\

    []Open file fsgame.ltx (found in main Lost Alpha folder) in some text editor and change line $game_data$ = true| false| to $game_data$ = true| true|

    • []If this is your only mod for Lost Alpha, just delete the gamedata folder completely.

    • If this is NOT your only mod, you have to delete all files included in this mod - for example (\gamedata\config\weapons\knife.ltx)

      Variations:

      - With tracers OFF: no tracers whatsoever

      - With tracers ON: I also turned them on on ammo which had not tracers before, like . 45 and some other types of ammo
