To all Germans/German VO enjoyers: you don't need the optional version, your localization team went to town with this and voiced every grunt and gasp :)

I wanted to fix this since I was 12 (give me back my 2010!)

Some technicals on how it was done:

It turns out that the ''intro_stalker.ogg'' (an early audio mix found in ''sounds\intro'' folder, the intro CG was in prod since about 2004, AFAI) syncs perfectly with the ''intro_movie.ogm'' (an early render of the CG). Apparently, the old GSC at some point decided to slightly trim the side close-up shot of Red running (and add a second pine tree for him to rustle past), but completely forgot about adjusting the audio (or implementing the final mix in the first place).

Having analyzed the aforementioned sources, I was able to identify and trim the unwanted section of the final audio track (sounds/characters_voice/scenario/video/intro_stalker_l and _r .ogg) with perfect precision. There's also a tiny patch from the early mix in a certain spot to ensure seamless transition and sync.

All audio is sourced from the legacy SoC stock assets. The Ukrainian audio (sporting the best bitrate) was chosen as the base track, and the voice over from each localization were carefully patched in to ensure the best sound quality possible.
