sellBroken - Sell low durability weapons in OXA Prototype

Description

Ordinarily, a simple bpatch of WeaponSellMinDurability/ArmorSellMinDurability will let you convince the various shopkeepers of the zone to to take weapons and armor below 40% durability. OXA Prototype changes things up a bit, though, to accommodate it's additions - making certain types of existing vendor, technician and weapon mods fail when it's installed. To make the changes from one of those mods work with OXAP, you need to make a mod that targets OXAP specifically, not the typical game objects.

This one allows you to sell low durability weapons. Same basic effect as the other mods - the following gets patched into the TradeGenerator of each vender:

TradeGenerators : struct.begin {bpatch}

WeaponSellMinDurability = 0. 1f

ArmorSellMinDurability = 0. 3f

struct.end

Values are 10% minimum durability for Weapons and 30% for Armor. I think a weapon at below 10% durability probably doesn't have any salvageable parts that would make a trader willing to buy it.

Installation instructions

The file is called "OXA_PrototypeZ_9O_P.pak" I named it this so it would sit in OXA's section of the load order.

This is the same, whichever version you use. Don't use more than one.

Balance

For balance, I was aiming for a 10% durability weapon to sell for maybe double the real-life USD price of that gun's most expensive part. The effect durability has on buy/sell value is fairly limited, however. Pistols are about where I wanted them to be, but most everything else will still be worth a couple times what I wanted. 

I recommend playing on Master or with an economy mod that boosts buy prices. 

Requirements

OXA PROTOTYPE

This was made with the DLC installed and targets all of the new vendors as well as the original ones. With my understanding of bpatch I don't think the DLC is a requirement, exactly. If you don't have the DLC and this doesn't work, though - that's why.
