Hello stalkers,

This mod overhauls the flashlight to make it provide better visibility than vanilla, and bring it closer to the classic S. T. A. L. K. E. R. trilogy. If you’ve missed the classic flashlight feel or just want a clearer view while exploring in the dark, this mod is for you.

Now evolving beyond its classic roots, this mod introduces new atmospheric features that make the flashlight feel truly immersive. With effects like subtle light flicker, natural sway and more, it adds an extra layer of tension when navigating mutant-infested ruins and dark underground passages.

• [](v1. 0) Increased range: The flashlight beam reach is slightly but meaningfully increased, giving you better visibility in dark areas without feeling overpowered.[/]

Installation

Unpack the ENTIRE FOLDER STRUCTURE in the following directory: Steam/steamapps/common/S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl/Stalker2/Content/Paks/~mods

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS SINCE 2. 0:

Unpack the zip and put the ENTIRE FOLDER structure into ~mods exactly as it is. Both NewContent and OverrideContent folders are required for the mod to work (since ZoneKit Phase 2). If Windows gives you an error that the path is too long, either enable long paths in Windows, or try pasting the folder on desktop first, then from desktop to ~mods (some users say that helps).

Compatibility

The mod edits the following files: FlashlightOuterRadiusCurve, FlashlightInnerRadiusCurve. It may not be compatible with other mods that modify any of these files.
