Strang Custom Crosshair Collection

Description

Tired of squinting at that white crosshair, pretending it blends perfectly with every chaotic background? Yeah, me too. That's why I decided to spend more time working on this mod than Sidorovich has been sat on his fat arse; crafting a custom set of coloured crosshairs, complete with two options. Unfortunately the shotgun ( arc ) remains white/vanilla, as it's a dynamic in-engine material, rather than a UI texture. Created from scratch in photoshop.

Pick a Style (not to scale, enlarged to demonstrate)

GSC Style - Mimics GSC's softer default crosshairs with slight outlines, that gradually taper off to 0 alpha. Slightly reduced crosshair spread vs the default.

FPS Style - A classic, blocky crosshair design with solid, high contrast colour throughout

MIN Style - A simple small crosshair, all other dynamic elements and circles removed

Dot - Behold. It's just a single dot, all other elements removed. Available in Green or White. Technically you can just change this in the game UI settings, but these are slightly higher contrast.

Pick a Colour

Green - 00FF00

Red - FF0000

Cyan - 00FFFF

Yellow - FFFF00

Magenta - FF00FF

White - FFFFFF

Violet - 7E57FF

Yeah i remade the crosshairs in white, the defaults are an off white.

Installation

[]Download the mod file in your style and colour of choice.

[]Extract the contents (3 files) to `Steam\steamapps\common\S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods`

[]If there's no `~mods` folder in your Paks directory, create a new folder and name it `~mods`.

[]Launch the game and enjoy your new crosshair.

Compatibility

Any other mods that target the games crosshairs will not be compatible. This mod does not touch any other UI aspects.
