📋 About This Mod
Physical Material Translucency Fix to prevent NPCs seeing through the map and other materials related to fences, buildings, foliage. The performance changes for Garbage Collection are optional.

S2 1. 7. 1 - Mod compatibility with S2 1. 7. 1 is back to being similar to how S2 1. 6.x was. Most mods should be happy together again.

]Converted to bpatch for easy compatibility with other mods. Mod conflicts should be extremely rare now.
2. 5 Update - Translucency Fix Update - July 27
All values reset to pre S2 1. 5 - Apparently even minor translucency on grass/leaves is too much. The shrubs and such are still too sparse with leaves, but it doesn't look like I can adjust that even with the sdk.
The place to fix the translucency issue is in AIGlobals.cfg. So if you're using a mod that alters AIGlobals.cfg you'll have to do a merge. Do not use Vanilla_AIGlobals_XRay_1_5Fix_P.pak with A-Life Uh.. Found A Way or DWO the translucency fix is already included.
Good news the jailbreak is no longer needed. I'm going to move 2. 1 into old files in case it's needed again in the future for whatever reason.
Collisions still need to be evaluated. Whether you remove them or not is up to you. You can always put them back if you notice something that wasn't happening previously.
The not so great news. GSC release version of S2 v1. 4 introduced some kind of bug so npcs get stuck looking in and out of online/offline. Seems to be about 1 out of every 4 or 5 spawns. So far I haven't found any solutions from what modders have access to.
