Slower movement and ADS speed matches walk speed

WHAT IT CHANGES

All values are read directly from the game's own ObjPrototypes.cfg and WeaponGeneralSetupPrototypes.cfg.

Movement speed (Player. MovementParams):

- Walk Speed: 160 to 160 (unchanged - this is the reference speed everything else is measured against)

- Run Speed: 370 to 296 (-20%)

- Sprint Speed: 820 to 656 (-20%)

ADS / aiming movement speed (AimingMovementSpeedModifier):

In vanilla, every weapon has its own AimingMovementSpeedModifier, a multiplier applied to your current run speed while aiming (ADS speed = Run Speed x modifier). Vanilla values range from 0. 58 to 1. 38 depending on the weapon, meaning on many weapons you actually move faster while aiming than while walking normally.

This mod overrides that modifier to a fixed 0. 5405 on all weapon and weapon-template entries in WeaponGeneralSetupPrototypes.cfg

The result: no matter which weapon you're holding, moving while aiming now feels exactly like walking - not faster, not slower.

COMPATIBILITY

This mod uses the game's official additive patch mechanism (bpatch) - it does not replace any original game files. It only adds two extra fields to Player. MovementParams and one field per weapon entry to WeaponGeneralSetupPrototypes. It should be compatible with virtually any other mod, as long as that mod doesn't also touch those exact same fields.

INSTALLATION

Install via Vortex ("Install From File") or manually by extracting the _P.pak file into:

...\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods\

UNINSTALL

Simply disable/remove the mod. Since it's a pure additive patch, all values instantly revert to vanilla (or to whatever other mods set them to) - no leftover changes, no side effects.
