Lifelike Clarity LUT for Reshade

This is a simple LUT that you can easily use through Reshade.

What is a LUT? For those that may not be familiar, a LUT is just a Look Up Table of colors, contrast and tones that is used in image processing to assign or adjust the colors and their brightness. It is essentially just a simple PNG file that serves as a code for how the colors will be displayed in the game.

This LUT provides a truly neutral and natural color palette for Stalker 2. It removes any of that brownish tone covering everything and makes the colors much more true to life. It strives to not take away from dynamic range or crush any detail.

I designed this LUT and fine tuned it throughout all the standard weather patterns in the game, as a result it will work well at night, daylight, clear skies, rain, storm, etc. No need to have a bunch of fancy shaders or anything complicated.

I designed this simple LUT because I really wanted a photo realistic look like I had seen in YouTube videos. I tried mods like "PRZ reshade" and while it was impressive with all the automations in their shaders, it tanked my FPS and still was a little too stylized for a true real life look and also unfortunately didn't look ideal (for my personal goals of natural colors and dynamic range) in all environments.

I was already getting good performance with the Ultra Plus mod and just wanted a 'low performance impact' way to fix the muddy and unnatural colors in Stalker 2.

This is NOT a stylized reshade, this is an attempt to make the colors all look as natural and real as possible, which I think I've done.

This IS a LUT file only. It is intended to be used through Reshade with the "Apply Lut LUTTools.fx shader"(should already have this installed in your Reshade, if not, click the 'Requirements' drop-down at the top of this description for the link).

Here is how to use my LUT:

 

1)-Make sure you have Reshade installed

2)-Go to your game folder and find the folder path location "...\reshade-shaders\textures". Place my LUT file "LifelikeClarityLUT.png" in the "textures" folder.

3)-Start your game up and open Reshade

4)-Find the Reshade shader called "Apply LUT (LUTTools.fx)". This is the only LUT shader that accurately loads LUTs so make sure to use this (it should be included with your Reshade install if you opted to install all the shaders or I have a link to it in the "Requirements" drop-down above)

5)-In the "Apply LUT (LUTTools.fx)" shader, under "Preprocessor definitions" set the "LUT_BLOCK_SIZE" to 64 and press your enter key to apply the change.

6)-Next, set the "LUT_FIL
