Rebalances the game's medkits and bandages to provide harder difficulty and more logical use scenarios.

Background

"Tip #69: Bleeding isn't 'just a flesh wound' - it's a serious, life-threatening condition. Remember to pack bandages and quality medkits."

Now your healing items will work meaningfully. With this mod, bandages will only stop bleeding - they won't heal. Your medkits will heal slower and you'll actually have reason to switch to Army Medkits and Scientific Medkits in the mid and late game because they'll act quicker and heal more HP.

Browsing existing mods on the nexus, I found the mods either do too little to affect healing rates or do too much to mess with other consumables. This is a simple but powerful rebalance implementation of medkits and bandages using the game's EffectPrototypes.cfg file directly.

Versions

Option A) Main mod.

Option B) Main mod merged with Floffel's Hide Low Radiation Effect mod.

Compatibility

Confirmed to work with game patch 1. 1. 3.

Overwrites the game's EffectPrototypes.cfg file. Any other mod which overwrites the same file will be incompatible with this mod.
