This mod overhauls the player flashlight for a more realistic and immersive experience, enhancing visuals and navigation without sacrificing the game's harsh horror atmosphere.

Key Features

• []HQ Visuals: Features a high-quality texture and realistic lens material for a grounded look.[/]

  []Rebalanced Beam: Replaces the unrealistic vanilla "lamp" radius with a tighter, brighter beam that projects farther while preserving the dark atmosphere.[/]

  []Indirect Bounce Light (NEW): Introduces subtle indirect bounce illumination, making navigation inside pitch-black interiors noticeably easier without unrealistically washing out room shadows. (Note: If you play on Low Global Illumination (GI) settings, indirect lighting may exhibit visual artifacts).[/]

  []Flashlight Animations: Adds natural movement shake to the light beam, increasing dynamically when walking or sprinting.[/]

  []Emission Flickering: The flashlight bulb flickers reactively whenever an Emission is occurring nearby.[/]

  []Maximum Compatibility: No longer modifies BP_Stalker2Character.uasset, making the mod 100% safe to use alongside logic mods![/]

  INSTALLATION

  Manual Installation (Recommended):

  Extract the mod archive and move the entire mod folder directly into your game's `~mods` directory:

  S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods\Keeping the loose mod files inside their folder within `~mods` ensures your mod folder remains organized and easy to manage.

  Vortex Mod Manager:

  If you are using Vortex, ensure you select all 6 files included in the mod package during installation.

  Uninstallation:

  Simply delete the mod folder from your `~mods` directory.

  COMPATIBILITY

  Modifies the following Unreal Engine assets:

  /GameLite/Blueprints/Curves/FlashlightInnerRadiusCurve.uasset

  /GameLite/Blueprints/Curves/FlashlightOuterRadiusCurve.uassetFully compatible with all logic mods (e.g., Craftable Zone, Lootable Zone).

  As the lighting system is now more dynamic, please report any visual bugs you encounter!
