Twin Real Battle Background, while not innately the prettiest plugin, does a simple job quite cleanly - it shows the battle backgrounds for the terrain of both units engaged in battle instead of just the defender. It is plug-and-play, and as such requires no installation beyond being put in the Plugin folder. Personally, I recommend custom assets that blend for this one. It automatically reverses the left-side picture, so make sure any custom assets setup to work with it will blend from the appropriate side if you make them for yourself.
