This will fix any issues with performance which arise when panning the camera, or swinging around, etc.

Instructions:

1) Download the "Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Ultimate Performance Fix"

2) Extract the contents of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Ultimate Performance Fix.rar using winrar, winzip, or 7zip, and place them into the game's root folder, overwriting the previous files.

3) Right click on your Spider-Man 2  desktop shortcut, and place the following command  in the Target section, without quotes:

Note, the space before "-high".

So, it should look like this, for example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Marvel's Spider-Man 2\Spider-Man2.exe" -high

You can also add the launch parameter via Steam, by right clicking the game in the Steam Library and selecting Properties. Then in the General tab, find Launch Options and enter the parameter there. Then close the game's Properties window and launch the game.

That's it. These new .dll files and the added launch parameter, will solve your performance issues.
