This edition expands the battlefield with Armored Striders - the "Kings of Land Warfare", a new class of heavy walking combat vehicles inspired by BattleTech and MechWarrior. Unlike humanoid mecha, Armored Striders are conventional ground war machines that rely on fixed-mounted weapon systems, offering a distinctly Western interpretation of mechanized warfare while complementing the existing Real Robot roster. Combined Arms Edition is designed for players seeking a more grounded strategic experience. Rather than allowing mecha to dominate every battlefield, this edition rebalances mechanized warfare to better complement conventional land, naval, air, and space forces, encouraging true combined-arms operations while preserving the modular customization that defines the Real Robot experience.
