📋 About This Mod
This was made using the 1.8 experimental branch I've made some edits to the starting setup of sub-saharan Africa after playing and feeling dissatisfied with various aspects: - Regions setup. Have substantially increased the number of regions and adjusted various borders. Created a few new countries (ie. Sahel Federation, Angola, Rwanda-Burundi) and split up some large regions (e.g. Central Africa, Nigeria, Congo) - Population Overall the population was far too low. I have adjusted every region in sub-saharan Africa taking their 2025 population as a base, assuming a 1% increase to 2092, then reducing by 1/3 assuming that the collapse of WW3 & climate change would have caused generalised famines before game start. Overall populations are more realistically distributed and higher. - New cultures - Saheli, Rwandan, Akan TO-DO - add resources to all regions - add more cultures (Africa is incredibly diverse and even if they're all going to get assimilated within 200 years, I would like for there to be many more present) - review cultures (base game problem and might just not but probably not everyone should be communal / traditionalist - more formables (i've replaced Ivory Coast with the West African Union only) - worldwide population rebalance (looking at you India) MISC - also nerfed America by reducing population in general and redistribution towards the Great Plain assuming WW3 was at least partly nuclear, people moving from the coats to the centre - changed borders and population in Assam / Bangladesh This mod will mostly be of interest to you if you want to do an Africa start, little else is changed.
