Zack

Hailing from Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core, Zack Fair has unexpectedly followed Cloud into Smack Studio! Sporting a similar moveset to the other Buster Sword-wielding fighter (being an Echo Fighter and all), he has some different attacks and attributes that differentiate him from the other hottie. Less of an all-rounder, and more focused on rushing at the opponent, he has some generally faster normal attacks better suited for combos or approaching, but suffers from less defense in comparison, and lacks projectiles of any kind. Play if you like: -Fast and disjointed moves -Quick grounded movement -Rushing at the opponent NEUTRAL SPECIAL: BRAVER Spin forwards, then perform a wide and powerful slash. It does a lot of damage, but has very generous endlag. Press Special at any point during the spin to immediately perform the slash. Hold Up or Down before the spin to spin at an upwards angle or a straight angle, respectively. The Limit Break version is faster, deals more damage, has much less ending lag, and it's much stronger at KOing. SIDE SPECIAL: CROSS SLASH Perform a combination of slashes, finishing with a "misfortune" kanji. It deals really good damage, however it lacks in knockback. The Limit Break version immediately performs all slashes, as well as having Super Armour during the active frames, dealing more damage and knockback. UP SPECIAL: CLIMHAZZARD A leaping reverse gripped slash. If the special button is pressed again, it is followed with short, reverse grip slash which launches the opponent downwards, although it requires Zack to be fairly close to the opponent for this second slash to connect. The Limit Break version locks you out from performing the descending slash, however, it has much more vertical momentum and velocity, as well as a considerably higher aerial drift, making it excellent for recoveries.
