Vani La Ori

Vani La Ori makes the cut into Smack Studio! Using her giant gunscissors, she'll be sure to trim down those in her path. Vani La Ori is a swordie with specials tied to her base limited bullet count of 2. Press B to reload once she has used up both of her bullets. Using Ultra will reload Vani's bullet count to 4, giving her 2 extra bullets, so you can extend combo strings with Up-B, Side-B, or Down-B, or you can open fire with Neutral-B. If you use Ultra when she has 4 or more bullets, she will gain 2 additional bullets instead. All of Vani's Specials utilize bullets. Pressing B during any of these moves (except for Neutral Special) will give Vani an extra version of her Special moves. You can press B again and again as long as Vani has enough bullets. You can tell how many bullets she has based on her meter. (It has no maximum limit - You can gain additional bullets by parrying your opponent's attacks.) When using any of her throws, you can press B on the Startup animation before the opponent is thrown to deal a stronger variation of that throw at the cost of 1 bullet. These versions of her throws do have kill potential on platforms. Jab: Vani has a standard 3-hit combo, but each subsequent combo move will send Vani backwards. Side Tilt: Vani can kick off platforms with this move designed to send opponents away. Down Tilt: Spikes aerial opponents, but punts upwards grounded opponnts. Up Tilt: Combo starter that punts up opponents. Up Air: Snip snip! Forward Air: Snip snip! Backward Air: BONK Neutral Air: BONK Down Air: Lonk Down Air but she bounces up if she hits an aerial opponent, and lands if she hits a grounded opponent. Forward Smash: SNIP SNIP Up Smash: SWONK MCBONK Down Smash: Her strongest Smash Attack but also the one with the least range and reach. Neutral Special: Pew pew. Press B when out of bullets to reload! Side Special: Movement option. Pressing B once will make her shoot and use the momentum for another Side-B. Pressing B again during this second B
