Amalia

Amalia, the Dreadnaught of the Coliseum, has arrived to fight only the strongest opponents in Smack Studio! She's a mountain of a woman, with a weapon way too big to be called a sword, a shield larger than a door. This gives her incredible reach and power, with long stabs, strong kicks, and a strong defensive special to deal with the opponent's offense. Finish them off with a powerful finishing Omega Shatter or with her devastating Ultra, Heavens Asunder. GIMMICK: STYLE CHANGE Her combat prowess makes her versatile in her handling of the blade, being able to change between an Action style and a Passive style when Taunting. She begins the combat in Action style, which is denoted with a blue shine when swinging the sword; in this style, her slashes are longer and are very strong when striking the opponent with the tip of the sword. Passive style has generally shorter reach, but has faster slashes, dealing more damage at the center while being weak when striking at the tip of the sword. Changing styles on the fly or stick to a single one and master it. The attacks affected by this are: Jab, Down Tilt, Forward Strong, Up Strong, NAir, FAir, and UAir. NEUTRAL SPECIAL: OMEGA SHATTER By pressing the special move button, Amalia will start charging a sword slash that, when done, causes great damage and knockback if it hits, especially when fully or nearly-fully charged. It has up to 11 levels of charge, from having no charge, to having full charge. The lowest level strike deals only 7%, while the fully charged strike deals 30%. It deals the most damage and knockback if the opponent is struck with the middle of the slash; being struck with the upper section of the slash or the lower section will yield slightly less damage, although arguably better angles, depending on the situation.
