Fujiwara no Mokou

Fujiwara no Mokou was formerly an ordinary human, but she became an immortal being after drinking the Hourai Elixir about 1300 years ago. Now she is the embodiment of a phoenix, and uses her powerful flames to fight. Be careful, though, as she receives a bit of damage every time she uses fire, so don't be reckless. GIMMICKS: SELF-DAMAGE -Most of her attacks deal damage to herself. HEALING -Her Neutral Special and Ultra heal her. JUMP CANCEL -All her aerial attacks, Up Tilt, and Down Strong (only the first hit), can be jump-cancelled on hit. The startup of Side Tilt can be jump cancelled after the dash. She's fairly aggressive, and this allows her to perform combos that are usually impossible for most characters. NEUTRAL SPECIAL: SPELL CARD Shoot out a spell card. It deals 5 damage and heals 1 damage off of Mokou, but deals no knockback or hitstun. Fairly fast, but has a small hitbox. SIDE SPECIAL: FLAME SIGN Mokou shoots a blue flame projectile, which deals good damage and, on hit, launches the opponent inwards. Unblockable. Deals 4 self damage. UP SPECIAL: IMPERISHABLE SHOOTING Mokou does a flip. Holding up or down will heavily alter the vertical momentum. At the end of the flip, she'll throw out a spell card behind her. Hold down the Special button to shoot a Flame Sign alongside the spell card, at the cost of dealing 4 self damage. DOWN SPECIAL: SELF-HARMING FIRE DIVE / FREE DIVE Mokou engulfs herselfs in flames and dives forward. In the air, inputting a diagonal-down input will yield an aerial, downwards version of this flaming dive. Deals up to 5 self damage. A normal, downwards input without any diagonal input will yield a free dive, which deals no recoil damage since it doesn't use fire at all. This free dive can be jump-cancelled on hit if there are jumps left. ULTRA: PHOENIX REBIRTH Mokou combusts into a pillar of flames, dealing up to 50 damage to enemies, and healing 20 damage. However, she heals an additional 10 damage per hit on an enemy. OTHER NOTES: O
