From the Mega Man X series, Zero joins the smackdown! With his signature Z-Saber and Z-Buster, nothing will stand in the way of this awesome Maverick Hunter! SPECIAL MECHANIC: CHARGED SPECIALS Zero's main special mechanic lies within his Neutral Special, the Z-Buster. Charge it up, and you'll get access to new special moves! NEUTRAL SPECIAL: Z-BUSTER / CHARGE SHOT Zero fires a shot from his arm cannon, the Z-Buster. You can fire uncharged shots, or a charged shot to keep foes at bay. It may seem basic, but its real utility lies within the moves it provides upon being fully charged. Plus, this could be a decent zoning tool! SIDE SPECIAL: RAIKOUSEN / HISUISHO Zero lunges forwards, as a trail of lightning quickly follows behind him. This can be used to surprise opponents, and to recover horizontally. The charged version of this is Hisuishi, a an invincible evasive dash with a weak hitbox. Good for getting out of situations, and far superior in terms of recovery than Raikousen. UP SPECIAL: RYUENJIN / SHORYUKEN Zero does an uppercut slash that launches him into the air! This is primarily intended to be for extending combos, as it can be cancelled into other moves. The charged version is... Yes. It's the Shoryuken. It packs so much of a punch. Use it if you REALLY want your opponents to be gone. DOWN SPECIAL: RAIJINGEKI / RAKUHOUHA / SENPUUKYAKU Zero lunges forward, with a lightning-based attack from his Z-Saber. This move may stop you in place, but it's quite powerful, as it ignores shields. Its charged version is Rakuhouha (the one from X4, not X6), where Zero slams the ground and projectiles come out from it. He's left vulnerable in the back, but... This may also help Zero out with zoning. Furthermore, if you do buster charged Down Special in the air, Zero will do Senpuukyaku.
