Yuna // Elf Warrior

Location: Markarth

///////////////////////////////

Yuna, a Thalmor elf with eyes like diamond, surveyed Markarth's bustling market. Her usually pristine armour, dulled by the dust of recent skirmishes, did little to deter the curious stares. She wasn't here for gossip, though her stomach rumbled, demanding sustenance after a long patrol.

At a stall overflowing with plump, roasted meats and steaming bread, she haggled good-naturedly with a Nord woman, her sharp tongue a surprising contrast to her elegant features. The scent of spiced venison hung heavy in the air, a welcome change from the usual metallic tang of blood and steel.

A heavy sack of provisions slung over her shoulder, Yuna slipped a few septims into the Nord’s hand. The brief exchange, a small moment of peace in a land constantly teetering on the brink of war, left her feeling strangely content.

The journey back to her post suddenly seemed less arduous.
