Possible Issues:

1. You may have the preset show right in racemenu but when loaded in game, the character's face may become orange/have no texture or just look weird. This is typical Skyrim behavior, but do not fret! Simply open your console by pressing ~ and type: "showracemenu". Do not change anything when in racemenu - press R to exit. Your character will look normal again. Hooray!

2. Purple overlay on your character means you're missing a texture. If you have a purple texture in the body, face, hands area - go to the MAKEUP/HAND/BODY PAINT in racemenu and set the opacity of the missing texture to 0 by using the slider on the bottom. Finding the correct texture can take trial and error. Please let me know if you have all the requirements but are still experiencing purple textures.
