📋 About This Mod
Wynter's Breezehome Redux
After doing my original Breezehome mod, I felt there was still more to do. So I had a second go, and this is the end result.
Upgrades
Alchemy and Enchanting Laboratory (Optional)
A laboratory/workshop with an alchemy lab, enchantment table, and staff enchanter.
Basement Workshop (Optional)
A well-appointed room with a forge, tanning rack, armor table, sharpening wheel, and smelter.
Bathing Room with Working Fixtures (Optional)
There is a bathroom with a sink, tub, and toilet. The toilet flushes, the bath is used by the player upon activation, and the sink appears to fill with water when activated.
Bedroom - Main (Optional)
A room off the loft with a double-bed, nicely decorated.
Children's Beds (Optional)
Two beds are provided for your adopted children if you choose to purchase them from Proventus Avenicci
Exterior Upgrades (Optional)
Includes a porch with seating located on the left side of the house, with a walk leading to the front door. There is a bird bath and butterflies just beside the porch. Also, there is exterior lighting, controlled by a lever mounted on the door.
Followers Quarters (Optional)
Since some folks like to play with multiple followers, I've added optional follower's quarters with furnishings that include two beds. If you don't play with followers, then you can skip the room purchase.
Housecarl Bedroom (Optional)
A small bedroom off the loft area for your trusty housecarl.
Indoor Garden (Optional)
An interior room in the sub-basement with fifteen Hearth Fire style planters to grow food or alchemy ingredients.
Kitchen Area with Cooking and Baking Stations

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 649 endorsements and over 125k downloads.
- Single-cell interior means fewer loading screens and better performance.
- Adds meaningful space with two underground levels, perfect for hoarders.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in July 2023, so may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim updates or mods.
- Underground levels might feel disconnected from the Whiterun aesthetic.
- Potential conflicts with other mods that alter Breezehome or Whiterun exterior.
For Skyrim players who want a more spacious Breezehome without leaving Whiterun. Great for collectors and role-players who need extra storage and display space. Skip if you prefer lore-friendly, minimal changes or if you use mods that overhaul Whiterun heavily.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2 to install and manage this mod easily.
- Check for compatibility patches if you use other Breezehome overhaul mods.
- Since the interior is a single cell, you won't need to worry about load door transitions, but be aware of potential navmesh issues if you use follower mods.
