📋 About This Mod
Overview
This mod replaces all the trees that Skyrim already has with more visually appealing meshes, some you might have seen before from Ulvenwald but almost all of them are new. This mod should improve visual fidelity while staying true to Skyrim's biomes and staying relatively performance friendly. This mods aesthetic could be compared to Ulvenwald's, but in this mod I went for something a little more painterly or fantasy like, while staying believable. The only thing that is "not vanilla friendly" is the Alder trees added to the Marsh.
Some bark textures are the same as in Ulvenwald, but that's just a result of me not finding something that was as visually appealing or that made any sense. The bark you see on the trees is the same bark you would find on the real life counterparts.
Installation
1. Download with your preferred manager, then proceed to FOMOD
2. Choose your choice of Aspen Bark for Rift and DLC.
Then have this mod load after any conflicts.
Textures size is 2k
Model Triangle Count is 5-15k.
I would recommend a Medium or higher system, my mod could also run on low end systems if you don't have a large mod list or run an intensive ENB.
one of the swamp trees has half covering collision (this is not a bug).

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 688 endorsements and 120k+ downloads
- Gives Skyrim's forests a fresh look without overhauling the whole game
- Covers most trees, so you get a consistent visual change
⚠️ Cons
- Only updates meshes, not textures, so you might want a texture mod to match
- Last updated in early 2023, so it may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim updates or other tree mods
- Potential conflicts with other tree overhaul mods that change the same meshes
For Skyrim players who want a simple, popular tree mesh replacement that changes the look of forests without a full overhaul. If you're already using a comprehensive tree mod like Skyrim Flora Overhaul, this might conflict, so check compatibility first.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager like Vortex or MO2, just download and install; it will handle file overwrites.
- Check if you have other tree mods installed; if so, load this one after them to ensure its meshes take priority.
- Since this only replaces meshes, pair it with a texture replacer for trees to get the full visual upgrade.
