White Hearth

White Hearth is a fortress located on a rocky outcrop to the south of Whiterun, overlooking the city. The design uses a mixture of custom and vanilla assets (with a Whiterun theme) and is highly customisable to suit a variety of characters and playstyles.

The castle comes equipped with everything you would expect from a substantial player home:

• []Mannequins, weapons racks and displays, including optional displays for unique quest items like dragon priest masks and elder scrolls

  []A combination of generic, named, and linked storage containers, including an autosorting system (the chest is located in the atrium - see images)

  []Standard crafting stations (enchanting, alchemy, smithing etc.)

  []Bathing facilities with a variety of water features (including auto-undressing NPCs and optional WCs)

  []A greenhouse with several dozen planters

  []A library with ample book storage

  []Stables and a carriage with local fast travel options

  []A recall spell to teleport you back to the castle

  []Up to 34 NPCs including staff, merchants, carriage drivers, followers, and guards, all with their own routines

  []Configurable equipment for guards: choose from steel plate (default), Whiterun, Imperial, Stormcloak, Blades, or Dawnguard weapons and armour

  []Accommodation for up to 35 followers, plus six children (Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions is needed if you want to rehome your family here, but most follower mods allow for rehoming other NPCs, such as Nether's Follower Framework)

  []Optional purchase requirements and reconstruction

  White Hearth has been fully navmeshed, optimised, cleaned with SSEdit, and thoroughly tested.

  INSTALLATION

  Install White Hearth as you would any other player home mod; I recommend using Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex for ease and transparency. Be very wary of uninstalling mods mid-game - even lightweight player home mods like this one - as unintended behaviours can result. My advice would be to hold onto a save from before you installed a given mod, allowing you to revert if you don't like the changes in-game. That said, this home should be perfectly safe to install mid-playthrough.
