📋 About This Mod
---If you like the mod and think it deserves it, feel free to leave an endorsement as it helps me to know what people want to see more of, and I also really appreciate it! Also, pictures are great!---
-Overview-
This is a small project I undertook (Which has turned into a big project) to add some weathered feeling Bodypaints for Nords! Most of the paints have weathering throughout, which gives them texture and overall makes them look better. All of these paints fit perfectly with the female body meshes seems, and most of them work well with Male body as well. Also added are some Weathered FacePaints(As Makeup for Special Edition), Weathered FootPaints, and some HandPaints. Some Meshes have UUNP and CBBE versions to better fit those seems.
All paints can be found with the prefix WNB at the start of their name in RaceMenu. If you feel so inclined, feel free to add your own images of them. To find the textures press T over the default values to see all the paints available to you.

-Installation-
Extract the contents of the 7Zip and move the contents to your Skyrim Data folder, or use the Nexus Mod Manager to install.
You should then be able to access the Body and Face Paints through the RaceMenu, under Makeup, Body Paint, and Face Paint.
If you are installing over a previous version, simply replace all when asked.
-Uninstallation-
Remove or disable the .esp in your data folder and the content should no longer appear in game. To delete the textures, you should delete the folder Data\textures\actors\character\Overlays\WNB in your skyrim directory.
Otherwise you may just uninstall via Nexus Mod Manager if you used it to install.

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust: 7,239 endorsements and 2.7M downloads.
- Adds gritty, realistic detail for characters who've seen combat.
- Works for both male and female characters, so it's versatile.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2021 — may have compatibility issues with newer Skyrim SE updates.
- Requires RaceMenu to use the overlays, so it's not a standalone mod.
For Skyrim players who want to add gritty, battle-worn detail to their characters without overhauling the whole look. Perfect for roleplayers and screenshot enthusiasts. Skip if you prefer clean, pristine appearances or don't use RaceMenu.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure RaceMenu is installed and up to date before adding this mod.
- Use the RaceMenu overlay system to apply the paints — they won't show up as regular warpaints.
- If you're using a mod manager, let it handle the file placement to avoid overwriting other texture mods.
