📋 About This Mod
INTRODUCTION
I apologize in advance for any broken hands.
Put your hand on a wall, squeeze the grip and pull yourself up. VR Climbing lets you climb any surface in Skyrim with your own arms - cliffs, city walls, trees, the side of a house - and push off at the top of a pull to launch yourself through the air.
KEY FEATURES
◈ Climb Anything
Reach for any solid surface and press grip to latch on. From there it is all your arms - pull yourself up hand over hand, as fast or as carefully as you like.
◈ Launch Yourself Off Walls
Push off hard and let go at the right moment and you fly. Catch the next wall mid-flight to keep going.
◈ Slow Motion Airstrikes
Launch yourself at an enemy with a weapon drawn. Land in striking range and time slows down - land the hit before you touch the ground and they go flying.
◈ Beast Mode
Werewolves and Vampire Lords are far better climbers than any man or elf. Longer reach, longer jumps, less stamina spent.
◈ Climbing Costs Stamina
Hanging on drains 8 stamina a second, so a long wall is a real decision rather than a free ride.
◈ Take A Hit, Lose Your Grip
Enough damage while you are hanging on and you fall. Clearing the archers first is worth the trouble.
◈ Your Armour And Race Matter
The heavier your armour, the shorter your climb-jump - you get the most distance in light gear. Levelling your armour skills takes the sting out of the weight, and Khajiit are that bit better at all of it than everyone else.
REQUIREMENTS
The latest version of each of these is absolutely required.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid community backing with 300 endorsements and nearly 20k downloads.
- Adds a unique movement mechanic that changes how you approach combat and exploration.
- Recently updated (January 2026), so it's likely still maintained.
⚠️ Cons
- VR-only, so it's useless if you don't have a headset.
- Climbing any surface might break level design or let you skip intended paths.
- Potential compatibility issues with other VR mods or game updates.
For VR players who want to feel like a parkour ninja, scaling walls and dropping on enemies. If you're playing flatscreen, skip this—it's VR only. Also great for those who enjoy breaking the intended path and finding creative ways to approach encounters.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure your VR controllers are properly calibrated for accurate hand tracking.
- Test climbing on a low wall first to get used to the grab and leap mechanics.
- Use the airstrike drop on enemies from high ledges for maximum damage and style.
