Logical conditions and dual casting transmutations.

Key Changes from Vanilla

• Proper condition ordering – Lowest value ore is transmuted first. You will no longer have to drop each individual piece of silver if you want to transmute a bunch of iron to silver.

• Increased casting time – Time to cast Transmute spell increased from 0. 5 seconds to 2. 2 seconds to give it more impact.

• Dual casting transmutations – Dual casting now yields different results, making it actually useful.

Single Cast

This is the logic used for a single-handed cast. See the chart in images. Required items are to the left of the arrow. Produced items are to the right. Starting at the top of the list, the spell checks for required items. If it finds them, that production is used. Otherwise it goes to the next production in the list. If it reaches the bottom without finding any required items, the spell fails.

• Iron Ore => Silver Ore

• Silver Ore => Gold Ore

Starting at the top of the list, the spell checks for required items. If it finds them, that production is used. Otherwise it goes to the next production in the list. If it reaches the bottom without finding any required items, the spell fails.

• Iron Ore x2 => Iron Ingot

• Silver Ore x2 => Silver Ingot

• Gold Ore x2 => Gold Ingot

• Iron Ingot => Silver Ingot

• Silver Ingot => Gold Ingot

Configuration Options

There are two modes available for this mod: Normal Mode and Cheat Mode. You can select which one you want using the fomod installer. See installation instructions.

Normal Mode

This mode works like normal.

Tip: You can switch to Cheat Mode at any time using the console command, set _VT_GlobalCheat to 1. The game will remember this setting when you save.

With cheat mode, casting Transmute once will convert all pieces of ore at once in a single production. For example, if you have 5 iron ores and you single cast Transmute, they will be converted into 5 silver ores. If you have 5 iron ores and you dual cast Transmute, 4 of them will be converted into 2 iron ingots.
