📋 About This Mod
This mod distributes armors from Amors of the Velothi Pt. 1 and Pt. 2 to specific Non-Playable Characters (NPCs). It is nothing more than an ini file and a single ESL that compiles outfits from those two mods. This will require both armor mods, Skypatcher, and their requirements to function. There are outfits made in the ESL for additional distributions to be made via filters such as "filterByFactions" , "filterByClass" , and "filterByRaces". It will be nice if "filterByCombat" or "filterByCombatStyle" becomes a thing as being able to distribute armors to NPCs based off of their behavior will make it easier to distribute to focused bandit types.
Reason for making this, I was in BiggieBoss' chat and he mentioned that he was interested in Skypatcher distribution for his modlist, but I am sure many others will find it useful.

An example line for distributing Hlaalu to Dunmers would be:

Thank you to:
Pulcharmsolis - VishVadeva50 for making Armors of the Velothi.
Zzyxzz for making Skypatcher and their articles which showed me how to utilize Skypatcher.
DaBiggieBoss for mentioning it on his stream.
RowanMaBoot for having a good reference, I don't know every NPC in the game so his SPID was a great reference.
I might make a CBBE/3BA port for some of the armor meshes that don't quite fit the female body correctly in the future, but it requires splitting up each armor mesh. I've tried scaling and repositioning and its much quicker to split up each part of the armor in bodyslide and then resize and position. Maybe someone will beat me to t
This mod distributes Velothi Armors to named NPCs in Skyrim using Skypatch, providing an alternative when SPID fails. It includes premade outfits in an ESL file for additional customization. With 68 endorsements and over 10,000 downloads, it's a niche utility for players who want specific NPCs to wear Velothi gear.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid download-to-endorsement ratio (10,597 downloads, 68 endorsements) shows it's being used.
- Provides a SPID alternative, which is handy for mod setups where SPID fails.
- ESL file means it won't count toward your plugin limit.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires Skypatch, which adds an extra dependency and setup step.
- Only covers named NPCs, so generic NPCs won't get the armor.
- Compatibility risk with other mods that alter the same NPCs or use SPID for similar distributions.
For Skyrim modders who want Velothi Armors on specific named NPCs and need a reliable distribution method when SPID is problematic. Also good for players who prefer Skypatch over SPID. Skip if you want armor on all NPCs or don't use Skypatch.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure Skypatch is installed and properly configured before adding this mod.
- Use a mod manager like MO2 or Vortex to handle the ESL file and load order.
- Check that the named NPCs you want aren't already modified by other mods to avoid conflicts.
