As characters, I feel that Farkas is more simple, honest, and driven by instinct. He doesn't overthink things and doesn't try to be anything he is not, living in the present and being genuine and dependable. Vilkas, on the other hand, seems to carry the weight of the past and the future of the Companions, thinking ahead of others, questioning more, and showing a different type of strength than his brother, and I wanted to show it in their design.

My idea with this mod was to make a grounded overhaul for Farkas and Vilkas to match my design for Aela the Huntress, but also keep their Vanilla soul and not invent a complete different look for them. I kept their original face shapes, hairstyle concept, and small details so they’re still clearly recognizable as the same characters, just a bit more refined.

They share the same base head to sell the idea that they’re twins, but I didn’t want them to feel like generic copies of each other. Farkas is more brutish, with a rougher complexion, thicker lips, a slightly wider nose, more body hair, and a stronger, heavier build. Vilkas is leaner and more athletic, with thinner lips and a more focused, cunning expression. Farkas feels like pure strength, while Vilkas comes across as more controlled and deliberate. Farkas is in his Jason Momoa era while Vilkas is in his Hugh Jackman era.

They also have different scars, warpaints, and tattoos to give them their own identity. I also kept their eyes icy blue like in vanilla instead of giving them the feral yellow I used for Aela. It just fits better to me, since Aela is more devoted to Hircine and stands apart from the others of the Circle.
