📋 About This Mod

This is a complete set of parallax textures for Dragonborn locations, like Apocrypha, Raven Rock, riekling architecture, landscapes, Skaal village, and a few other places and objects. It's part of a series of mods that I will be releasing to add parallax to vanilla textures. The earliest ones are to support Terrain Parallax Blending Fix, but I plan to do more.

NOTE: Each of the Skyrim DLCs make more extensive use of engine features that make parallax trickier than the rest of the game. In short, this means that in order to add parallax to everything, complex material is required. I am working on this, but support for complex material in the modding community is lacking, so I'm releasing the parallax version instead for the time being.

Installation

  • []Install this mod, loading it early (preferably, all other textures that aren't vanilla-based should overwrite these.)

    []Enjoy!

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

This mod adds parallax effects to locations in the Dragonborn DLC, giving a 3D depth to the original Skyrim aesthetic. It's part of a series, so it's for players who want enhanced visuals without changing the game's core look. With 495 endorsements and frequent updates, it's a solid choice for visual modders.

✨ Key Features

Adds parallax to locations in the Dragonborn DLC
Creates a 3D effect while preserving the original Skyrim aesthetic
Part of a series of vanilla parallax mods

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community-approved with 495 endorsements and over 147k downloads
  • Keeps the vanilla look while adding depth—perfect for purists
  • Part of a series, so it's likely compatible with other vanilla parallax mods

⚠️ Cons

  • Only covers Dragonborn DLC locations, not the base game or other DLCs
  • Requires a parallax-enabled ENB or shader setup to see the effect
  • Potential conflicts with other texture overhauls that modify the same locations
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim players who want to enhance the Dragonborn DLC's visuals with subtle 3D depth without straying from the vanilla aesthetic. If you're using an ENB and love the original look, this is for you. Skip if you prefer total visual overhauls or don't use parallax-capable setups.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure your ENB or shader mod supports parallax, or the effect won't show.
  • Load this mod after other texture mods to ensure it takes priority.
  • If you're using other mods from the same series, install them together for consistent coverage.
