📋 About This Mod

Description:

"So after getting drunk all night in the tavern in Riften, this Brynjolf fellow comes and offers me some falmerblood elixir, at the bargain price of only 30 septims each!

Naturally I spent all the money I've made in the last two months back at the mine, and bought 10 of those, now I'm the strongest Nord in Skyrim! not to mention I grew back that missing limb.

Ah... but now my weapons break like twigs whenever I swing them, so I had to make myself some new ones, bigger and badder than any other (although the materials aren't quite great, had to smelt my pa's old wood-axe when I ran out of horseshoes), and they're really heavy too, but since I'm super strong now (or super drunk), I can't even feel the weight."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Basically, a weapons pack, containing 8 weapons, and as the name implies ( I've borrowed some DarkSouls terminology here), these weapons are either very long, very big, very heavy and with unwieldy proportions, basically nothing a normal person could realistically wield, but hey, if those potatoheads from Oblivion can swing around a "warhammer" the size of a small child, so can you!

Are they lore-friendly?

- Well, there's no dwarven quantum space-cannons in the mod, so suuuuure it is.

Are they realistic?

- Depends on how much you bench-press.

Here's a little video showcase I've made:

The Weapons:

In no particular order, these are:

Ultra Iron Sword - 1958 Tris/Faces

Ultra Iron Axe - 3038 Tris/Faces

Ultra Iron Mace - 2490 Tris/Faces

Ultra Steel Sword - 7186 Tris/Faces

Ultra Steel Axe - 7026 Tris/Faces

Ultra Steel Mace - 7676 Tris/Faces

+ 2 "Bonus" Weapons:

Ultra Iron Pickaxe - 2118 Tris/Faces

Akaviri Ultra Saber - 4746 Tris/Faces

The weapons themselves have a certain 'theme' to them, Iron weapons are scratched, rusty & abused beyond all reason, while the steel ones have certain patterns and decorations about them while still looking like they've seen regular use. (Also, unfortunately, the Ultra Pickaxe can't be used to mine anything other than people's heads)

Generally Speaking, the weapons have the DPS of one tier above their material grade, so for example, the "Ultra Iron Sword" does damage comparable to a "Steel Greatsword", and a "Ultra Steel Sword" to that of a "Dwarven Greatsword" and so on (although the numbers are not exact).

There are a few more things to consider however:

Pros&Cons:

+ Higher damage

- Slower attack speed

+ Longer reach

- Extremely heavy

+ Higher stagger-chanc

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community favorite with 648 endorsements and 25k downloads – clearly a lot of people are using this.
  • Big, chunky weapons that fit the power fantasy of smashing enemies into dust.
  • Simple concept – if you like oversized weapons, this delivers exactly that.

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2018, so it might not be compatible with the latest game versions or other mods.
  • No detailed feature list, so you're going in blind on exactly which weapons are included.
  • Potential balance issues – giant weapons might trivialize combat depending on your game difficulty.
🎯 Is This For You?
For players who want to feel like a giant, wielding absurdly large weapons that crush everything in sight. If you're into over-the-top power fantasies and don't care about realism, this is for you. Skip if you prefer balanced, lore-friendly weapon packs.

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Since this mod is from 2018, check if your game version is compatible before installing – older mods can break with updates.
  • If you're using a mod manager, preview the weapon models in-game to see if they fit your character's scale.
  • Pair this with a difficulty mod if you want to keep combat challenging – giant weapons might make things too easy.
