📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 645 endorsements and over 216k downloads.
- Physics-based lanterns add immersion for both player and NPCs.
- Optional fuel system adds a survival layer without forcing it on you.
⚠️ Cons
- Physics-based lanterns might cause performance hits on lower-end rigs.
- Fuel system could be annoying if you just want a simple light source.
- Potential conflicts with other mods that alter player equipment or NPC outfits.
For Skyrim players who want more immersive lighting with functional lanterns that react to combat. Also great for roleplayers who enjoy managing fuel and toggling light sources. Skip if you prefer simple static lights or don't want extra inventory management.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Use the hotkey to quickly switch between light sources during combat.
- If you don't want the fuel system, disable it in the mod's MCM or config.
- Test the lantern physics in third person to see how they interact with your character.
