Backstory for Thoden

Name: Thoden Mountainborn

Thoden was born in the harsh northern reaches of Skyrim, where the cold bites deep, and survival is a constant battle. Raised in the shadow of the Throat of the World, he grew to be a towering figure, his strength forged through years of labor and relentless training. From a young age, Thoden hunted in the frozen tundras, carrying prey twice his size back to his village, earning him the nickname "The Mountain of the North."

Tragedy struck when his village was razed by a band of marauding Forsworn. Though only a young man, Thoden fought fiercely to protect his home, wielding an old iron greatsword passed down through his family. Despite his efforts, the village fell, and Thoden swore vengeance against the Forsworn and any who preyed upon the weak.

Fueled by grief and a deep sense of justice, Thoden journeyed across Skyrim, offering his sword to those in need. His exploits became the stuff of legend: the giant who single-handedly held a bridge against a dozen bandits, the warrior who wrestled a bear with his bare hands, and the protector who stood between villagers and a raging frost troll. Despite his fearsome reputation, Thoden’s heart remained as vast as his frame, always seeking to shield the innocent from harm.

Now, whispers of dragons and the rise of the Dragonborn have drawn Thoden back to the heart of Skyrim. He sees the resurgence of these ancient creatures as a call to arms, a chance to protect his homeland from an even greater threat. Wielding his trusted greatsword and clad in heavy armor, Thoden stands ready to face any foe, whether mortal or beast, to uphold the honor of Skyrim and carve his name into the halls of Sovngarde.
