The True Face of Anise

Anise's cabin has always been a slight mystery. This mod makes the "Secret" Anise is guarding a little bit bigger. True Face of Anise adds a small coven-style dungeon to the basement of Anise's cabin, complete with a small plot which can be unraveled by investigating and reading custom books and notes scattered through the dungeon.

Ever wondered why Anise was so violent about her alchemy and enchanting in her basement? Ever wondered what her coven would have been like if it had gotten a little farther? Wonder no more!

In this experience, Anise's coven is jump-started by about 13 weeks, so when the player arrives, there's more going on than just a mostly empty basement. The basement itself has been expanded to about 8 times its previous size, replete with coven initiates, a prisoner, underground livestock, and more. Books within the basement detail the progress of the coven and outline the story of the coven so far. Players will have an enjoyable time discovering the story of the dungeon as well as facing a well-balanced mix of challenging foes, and even a potential short-term ally!

This dungeon is designed to be a shorter encounter; do not expect 3 hours of gameplay, but rather 20-30 minutes worth of content.

This dungeon is designed to be a minor challenge to mages specifically, but can still provide an interesting experience to other player types as well.

Anise herself, as she is outside the "cellar" cell, has no overhauls; she will still patrol the outside area and attempt to kill the player after they leave the basement.

Compatibility:

The only cell that has been modified is the Cellar of Anise's cabin, using the creation kit with only the "Skyrim" and "Update" esm files; thus, this should be compatible with almost all other mods, except those that also directly modify the same cell.

Installation:

Download and install via your favorite Mod Manager or simply extract the contents into your Data directory.
