The Sorceress - Dragon's Crown Sorceress Follower

Addresses some common complaints and bugs. Sorceress's Mental Absorb ability has been removed, and her magicka regen buffed to compensate. Sorceress's clothes have also been fixed, the hat now properly registers as head armor. Some of their enchantments have also been tweaked. Finally, you can now access the Sorceress without going to Solstheim, by heading down into the midden and retrieving her Journal, located near the atronach forge.

Introduction

Projects do have a habit of spiralling out of control, don't they? A few months ago, I was working on an experimental spellcasting AI, only to realize that I couldn't really make it function with every single unit in Skyrim. So I decided to stick onto a custom follower instead, and since there were existing assets that Japanese modders had made for the Sorceress in Dragon's Crown, I took advantage of that and decided to make a fully realized version, with custom spells based on her skillset from Dragon's Crown. But then, it's like, if I have this custom follower and custom spells, I should do more than just plop her in the middle of Whiterun. And now there's a miniquest. And a dungeon. And oh these textures are off, lets fix them. And lets get custom bodies and all that and before you know it it's three months later and you're finally done.

The main feature of The Sorceress is her ability to intelligently cycle through her array of spells and combo them in interesting ways. I accomplished this by creating a system where she constantly learns and loses spells in combat. Her list of spells is divided into offensive and utility. Whenever the Sorceress casts one of her spells, that spell is swapped for another spell of the same type. She should never cast the same spell twice in a row while fighting, and each spell she
