The Marrying Kind - Cinderella Renewal Edition

Part two of a series of NPCs NOT meant to be followers. They are just meant to be new characters added to the game that are potential matrimony candidates...if you meet their strict criteria for selecting an eligible partner. Let's be real here - ever walk up to some person you fancy with your bling on, and have them want to tap you on the spot? You have? Well, aren't you special. The rest of us aren't so lucky.

Like in RL, you may be frustrated that your advances don't go anywhere. Because MAYBE THEY JUST AREN'T INTERESTED IN BEING IN A ROMANTIC

RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU. Sometimes it sucks to be you. Maybe you should try being somebody different (or just be a big fat cheater, and peak

under the hood of the quest, you pathetic tosser).

Each character has a story, that will reveal itself to you, or not (depending on the sexual, racial, and political biases that they may or may not have), through a brief intro dialogue. I was inspired by mods like Interesting NPCs, but due to having to use cut-and paste vanilla dialogue, I can't get anywhere NEAR the depth that mods like that have. So don't get really high expectations. Or, more accurately, anything above LOW expectations.

About This Mod

Loosely inspired by the story Aschenputtel, by the Brothers Grimm,  which was based on earlier folk tales with roots in many, many cultures around the world - say hello to Cinderella, a very poor farm girl that dreams of a better life. Cinderella is not her real name - it was given to her by her mean step-mother and step-sisters after her father died. She suffered horrible physical and mental abuse whilst living with them. Finally, to escape her horrible fate, she left in the middle of the night as they slept. She wandered towards Solitude in search of her dream of a better life. Tired and hungry from her travels, she stopped at a farm outside the city, totally exhausted, and fell asleep in a horse barn.

The next morning, she awoke laying next to a young orphan boy named Blaise that worked at the farm. They became friends - and he introduced her to the owner of the farm, Katla. After they talked, Katla, feeling pity on the poor girl, offered her work at the farm, in exchange for meals. But she had nowhere for Cinderella to sleep other than the horse barn. Unsure of where else to go, she accepted, and has toiled away working the farm for many months. One night she had a dream where she was visited by Lady Mara, who told her that a stranger would visit her and help her find a better life. And so she now awaits her savior...

So this is how you will find her - a desperately poor girl, pure of heart, and a diamond in the rough - encrusted with the dirt, grime and rough skin of a farm worker.
