The Heart of Winterroot is a fully voiced Skyrim quest mod featuring new dungeons, characters, and a nature-driven story. Join the Wood Elf Larethil Sablewind to recover three corrupted Seedstones, restore the Winterroot Tree, and stop a twisted druid from bending nature to his will.
Quest Start:
To begin the adventure, travel to Mosslight Tower, an abandoned Imperial tower near Old Hroldan, west of Rorikstead. Explore this imperial dungeon and uncover its mysteries.

New Dungeons, Locations and Challenges:
1. Mosslight Tower – abandoned Imperial tower south of Old Hroldan across the river, southwest of Rorikstead
2. Wildwood Breach – abandoned mine overrun by bandits, south of Falkreath, east of Halldir's Cairn
3. Wildwood Grove – hidden valley accessible through Wildwood Breach
4. Feylight Grotto – abandoned tower in the Rift, west of Shor's Stone
5. Mzulvarn – Dwemer ruin northwest of Windhelm
Face corrupted spriggans, the twisted druid, and other deadly enemies while uncovering hidden secrets. Only with Larethil Sablewind by your side can nature’s balance be restored
-Larethil Sablewind is now a true follower during the Questline.
-WARNING: This update is not compatible with older versions due to changes made to several quest stages. Updating from a previous version may cause quest-related issues, broken progression, or other bugs.
-Please do not update if you have already installed an earlier version of the mod in your current playthrough.
I apologize for the inconvenience. Due to my current modding limitations, I was unable to create a conversion system that maintains compatibility with existing saves. As a result, Version 2. 0 is primarily intended for new players who have not yet started this mod.
Important Note:
Please do not dismiss Larethil while the questline is active, because:
1. At certain points, you will need to talk to him in order to progress the quest. If he is dismissed, you may be forced to return to the location where you first met him.
2. Dismissing him early in the follower sequence may break or stall quest progression.
To avoid any issues, keep Larethil as your active follower until the questline is completed.
-fixed and reworked the condition for Larethil's idle comments. He should now remain truly silent during the course of the questline.
-added an extra key for Wildwood Breach Mine so it no longer appears only during the quest.
-added extra room for Mosslight Tower.
