Version 3. 1 - Bug Fixes, Patches and Alternate Perspective Addon!
I've fixed some bugs that would cause conflicts/collectible tracking desync between the MCM menu and the quest journal - should fix any leftover objectives being displayed incorrectly even if you install this update mid-save.
Additionally, I've created a small patch for Bards Reborn Student of Song that should fix the blocked off bedroom added by that mod.
Last but not least, there is now an Alternate Perspective addon for this mod - check it out here!
Should be safe to update mid-game!
The Ultimate Playable Instrument Experience
The Dragon Bard Ultimate includes all content added in my previous mods from the series, and more!
Features Include:
8 New Instruments: The player can now play a violin, lyre, tagelharpa, qanun, pan flute, handpan, harp, and piano! All the instruments can be crafted at the Instrument Workstation in the Dragon Bard's Sanctuary treehouse (except the piano and the harp).
40+ New Songs: All instruments start with 5 songs. Some instruments having additional songs unlockable through quests and collectibles.
Vocal Ability: Sing a short tune selected randomly from a pool of audio files and animations for an immersive feel.
Custom Animations: Detailed animations tailored to each instrument for the player!
Quest: Take a journey across Skyrim and play music at different locations to unlock new magical abilities!
Player Home: A small bedroom in the Bard's College, holding many secrets within...
Earn Tips Playing in Taverns: The player has a chance to earn 10-40 gold when performing songs in taverns.
Duets and Companion: Discover the spirit of an unknown bard who will play duets with you!
Getting Started:
There are six handheld instruments added by this mod that the player can craft:
Tagelharpa/Bow
(In addition, a Piano and Harp can be found in the Dragon Bard's Sanctuary player home - see below.)
The Violin has four variants, and the Lyre and Qanun each have 2 variants. All versions of these instruments can be crafted at the Instrument Workstation in the Dragon Bard Sanctuary, accessible through a secret door past the new bedroom in the Bard's College. (Hint - think Narnia!)
When you first enter the Sanctuary, follow the path where you will find a shrine at the end containing the Book of Bardic Knowledge. A
