The Corrupted Ashbringer - Remembrance

Weapon Lore -

Ok, so there's like 1+ hour lore videos about the Ashbringer, but I'll try to summarize it briefly. Originally, the Ashbringer was forged to be a weapon of the light against the rising threat of the undead Scourge. It's wielder, Alexandros Mograine, however, soon fell and was raised into undeath corrupting the blade with unholy magic. The now cursed Ashbringer eventually passes onto the hands of his also undead son, Darion Mograine, who then passes the weapon onto the Legendary Paladin Tirion Fordring who manages to purify the blade to its original state.

At some point, Tirion dies since he is no longer relevant to the current Warcraft lore valiantly against demons, and the blade passes to a new Highlord (The Player Character). Although a holy weapon, the Highlord can choose to recorrupt the blade through the following of a secret questline, infusing it with the powers of the Four Horsemen of the Ebon Blade who are a group of Elite Champion Deathknights.

My interpretation of the Corrupted Ashbringer combines both the Classic Wow and the Legion Expansion appearance with a couple of adjustments to improve on both designs while staying true to the origin and corruption of the Ashbringer.

Weapon Stats -

The Corrupted Ashbringer is a two-handed greatsword with not just a unique enchantment, but with a special perk that acts as both a blessing and curse.

- 42 Attack Damage

- 0. 75 Attack Speed

- 1. 7 Reach

- Special Perk: Cursed Weapon

- Enchantment: Unholy Thirst

- Cannot be Disenchanted

Weapon Enchantment - Unholy Thirst -

The blade's unholy energies allow its wielder to absorb 25 points of health and 50 points of stamina.

Special Perk - Cursed Weapon -

The blade's whispers make the wielder 25% more vulnerable to all types of damage. In return, however, they force your inner potential, boosting power attack damage by 50%.

Way to Obtain and Recipe -

The Corrupted Ashbringer can be crafted at the Skyforge once the player achieves the Daedric Smithing Perk. From there, its recipe will require these components-

- 1 Filled Black Soul Gem

- 3 Ectoplasm

- 10 Ebony Ingots

- 3 Corundrum Ingots

- 3 Gold Ingots

- 4 Leather Strips
