Description:

This tiny mod installs a fail-safe button disguised as a single imperial table candle near the bed of the Jarl in all nine holds of Skyrim. The candle triggers a script that bypasses the local vanilla Thane quest. After you have purchased that Hold's player home simply click the candle in the Jarls bedroom and answer yes to continue the fail-safe protocol. Each button will only let you answer yes once so please make sure you own that Hold's player home before you continue the procedure. (buy the house, unlock the door and enter the house) (build the entryway to get a door to unlock for the 3 Hearthfire houses)

A book menu activator has been added for those who run mods that cover-up or otherwise disable the candle menu activators. The book can be obtained by opening the command console with the ~ key then typing: Help "Fail-Safe", hit enter, note the FORM-ID of the book, then type player.additem FORM-ID-HERE and finally hit enter. The book will be in your inventory.

The Fail-Safe Protocol:

Once continued the script will enable the local housecarl, enable the housecarl's room in your local player house, enable your local Thane's get out of jail privilege, add the local Blade of the Hold to your inventory, and attempt to close down the stalled local Thane quest.
