Thalmor Dialogue and Quests

Important things:

This is not voiced, because it adds lines of dialogue to vanilla NPCs without suitable voice files.

This is the first mod I’ve uploaded, and I’m still very inexperienced. There will be lots of things that could be improved/may be entirely wrong, but I don’t know what they are yet, because I don’t know what I don’t know.

Who is this for?

1. Anybody who has ever fallen in love with the fancy Thalmor robe, made the angriest elf Racemenu can provide, gone mad with power, added themselves to the Thalmor faction(s) using console commands (or mods), and then found they had nothing to do except set people on fire while being unable to explain why they were doing it.

2. Anybody who has ever fought a Second Great War (link at bottom of page) for the Aldmeri Dominion, and then found, after setting several cities on fire, that you are still greeted with “Good to see you.” Actually, this doesn’t change NPC’s greetings, but it does mean you can have an argument with them about it afterwards.

3. Me, because I began making it for myself and decided to expand it, tidy it up and put it on here in case anybody else wants it too.

4. Anybody else who wants to try a Thalmor playthrough and needs something to do between their own personal plots.

What is it?

A ring that adds dialogue options to most existing NPCs so that you can be a proper Thalmor, and question and bully the weak and be bravely resisted by the strong, or at least the quite confident. Also, 21 short quests.

This is unvoiced because it mostly uses existing NPCs, who do not have enough voice files to satisfy my demands of them.

What are its limitations?

Lots, because I’m still a beginner, although I have played with the mod myself for several months without it breaking the game. It doesn’t add you to any factions, and unfortunately it doesn’t prevent the vanilla Thalmor from occasionally freaking out and attacking you under various circumstances.

But I have since made a mod that DOES allow you to join these factions: Missing in Action as a Thalmor. This one also, will, soon. In the mean time, try that one.

Where is it?

In a sack behind the archery targets in Solitude, along with a selection of super-secure pass-phrases you can use when meeting the agents in the quests. Pictured in images.

Put the ring on when you want to do Thalmor things.

What Roleplay styles does it cater for?

An array of Thalmor-specific personalities,
